Typical instructional DVD

This DVD is not going to teach you every single thing about your camera, but it will teach you the basics and just a little bit more, which may be more than you think if this is your first experience with a DSLR... the basics are not exactly basic, but are basic when it comes to all of the possibilities of your DSLR camera. So if reading the manual and figuring it out on your own is not your thing, or you are simply a visual learner, this is a great DVD and start to getting to know your Nikon D7000

This was a fast way to be introduce some of the features of the D7000. The company that I bought my D7000 from had removed the Owner's Guide from the kit and refused to replace it. I downloaded a manual but it's huge so the DVD was very helpful in giving me an introduction to my new camera, pointers on the new features and tips, but also a visual to compare to.I would definitely recommend this product.

The only way to learn

This video was specific to the Nikon d7000 and its features. It exampled and then demonstrated how and when to use each feature. It makes sense.
