Great but not the same build quality as the 758 meter

I own the 758DR meter but thought I could replace it with the 478DR but couldn't understand the price difference between the two. I bought the 478DR and I do like it but the construction is not in the same class as the 758DR. It is easier and faster to use which is great but the labeling for f-stop, shutter speed and menus are smaller and not quite as crisp as I had thought. It will fit in a shirt pocket much better than the 758 and you do not have to fiddle with dials, the 478 is more intuitive. For me, setting the radio channels is much easier on the 478. Remember that it is not equipped with a spot meter like the 758, that has to be purchased separately. I have both meters but the 758 is now gathering dust.

This meter is awesome but make sure that you have the American Version!!! If you followed all the steps and still have problems triggering your speed lights via PocketWizard check to see if there is a CE on the back of the meter and only 3 channels in CTL. If so you were sent the wrong meter like I was.
