Sony SLT-a57 -I love this camera!

The best third party reviews I've found have been: [...] and [...] The feel, and balance are great, and the Value ratio (Quality/Cost) is very high - 16.1MP CMOS sensor, EVF (1,440,000 dot) is capable, if you don't need OLED, since camera is complemented by 921k, 3 inch articulated LCD screen). There is a burst rate of 10 frames per second (or 12fps at 8.4MP cropped),1080p AVCHD 2.0 movies at 60 or 24 fps, 'peaking' mode for manual focusing in video and with non-AF lenses, great AF mode in stills, and video with tracking mode, image stabilization with phase detection, DOF button, clear view (2X) digital zoom, great battery life (FM500H), ISO 100-16000 (Auto up to 6400, and practically up to ISO 3200. Lastly I can use my older Maxxum AF lenses!!!

I had the alpha a390 that is quite good for a reflex beginner but it doesn't have video. The a57 is awesome, I am very very happy with it.
